Long before Arnold Woodworking & Crafts LLC had a name, we were the couple wandering every aisle of the craft fair, picking up ideas and heading home to try them ourselves.

Then we became grandparents, and everything got a little more serious. We wanted the things we made to be good enough to hand down, so we sharpened our skills and raised the bar on every board, carving and finish that leaves our shop.

When we retired about three years ago, we turned the hobby into a business so we could share our work at craft fairs, and now online too.

The best part is who's in the shop with us. Our grandchildren have become our favorite apprentices — sanding, measuring, picking out wood and proudly signing the projects we build side by side. Passing that love of making on to them is what Learn, Teach, Inspire is all about.
